Strange Meeting Youth Europa-Africa - Burkina Faso (24. bis 30. August 2008)
Ein Meeting der besonderen Art wird im August in Ouagadougou/Burkina Faso stattfinden. Das Etrange Rencontre ist ein alternatives Jugendforum für Aktivisten und moderne Denker.
A meeting like no others, a social forum weird, self-directed in Africa, bring together the conscience youngs of two continents, and even more.....
Some youngs in struggle, in resistance, searching alternatives for another world , more just, with solidarity, a world for everybody.
The second edition of the « Etrange Rencontre » that we can translate as « The Strange Meeting » will happen in the end of august 2008 in Ougadougou (Burkina Faso) country of Thomas Sankara.
In two words it is a kind of an Alternative Social Forum; a meeting of youngs associatives activists ( angry or enrage....) from Europe (mostly frome France, but not only...) and from Africa ( mostly from West part, but not only) and who thinks that the appropriation of NTIC and communication are important issues for the socials mouvements.
For introducing more details of the initiative, we had the idea of organizing a first meeting in Paris with youngs and less youngs in struggles/ activist-e-s to discuss of this international meeting and participate thus to this achievement.
*The date of the Wesnesday 12 march 19h had been reserved at the CICP, green hall ( 1er floor)*
We will be host on the premises by the CEDETIM and there will have others organizations invited: AITEC / AMORCES / Echanges et Partenariats / ATTAC/ ZEP/ Génération Palestine / Vamos! / ISHTAR / Sud Etudiants / Afaspa / LCR....
